Tea With Rosie at the Newton of Ypsilanti

Tea With Rosie at the elegant Newton of Ypsilanti was a great success! The American Rosie the Riveter Association (ARRA) Michigan Willow Run Chapter partnered with Chef Allison Anastasio to bring our WWII Rosies and Veterans together with the Ypsilanti community. Recording artist Corey Strong sang for the group, and Rosebuds Audrey Parmentier and Jeannette Gutierrez performed an educational skit. Jeannette gave a short presentation entitled “WWII: When Hollywood Came to Detroit.”
