We are proudly affiliated with the American Rosie the Riveter Association (ARRA). ARRA is the oldest, largest, and most active Rosie the Riveter organization in the world, and is a national organization founded by the WWII Rosies themselves for fellowship and to preserve their legacy. ARRA has Chapters in many states and is an all-volunteer, non-profit 401(c)3 organization. We are your local Michigan Chapter of ARRA!

Our Michigan Willow Run Chapter of the American Rosie the Riveter Association (ARRA) seeks to educate and engage communities with their Rosie the Riveter and WWII history, to preserve Rosie’s legacy for future generations, and to offer the public opportunities to meet, greet, honor, and learn from these very special Americans, who have so much to teach us and have done so much to inspire us.

We offer informative, well-researched educational presentations… our dynamic Rosie the Riveter speaker & presenter, Jeannette Gutierrez, is entertaining, engaging, and gets rave reviews.

The Michigan Willow Run Chapter of ARRA is not affiliated with any local museum, but is proudly a Chapter of the nationwide American Rosie the Riveter Association (ARRA). The American Rosie the Riveter Association was founded by the Real Rosies of World War II, with the purpose of recognizing and preserving the history and legacy of the working women of WWII.

Rosie the Riveter Rosebushes

The American Rosie the Riveter Association ARRA has planted almost 200 rosebushes in dozens of public Rosie the Riveter Rose Gardens across Michigan. The Rosie Rose Gardens serve to engage communities with their Rosie legacy and provide families a way to honor their own Rosie the Riveter.
