Congressional Recognition for "Rosie the Riveter" Almyra

Chapter Vice president Jeannette Gutierrez worked with staffers at Rep. Debbie Dingell’s office and Almyra’s family to have a congressional proclamation created in honor of Rosie the Riveter Almyra Rourke’s 100th birthday. The statement was read in Congress and published in the Congressional Record. Chapter President Nancy Zajac joined Jeannette in presenting the honor to Almyra.
